Einführung in die Wissenschaftsphilosophie/Introduction to the Philosophy of Science

In this course, I will introduce many of the central topics in the philosophy of science, including causation, induction, verification, falsification, revolutions and paradigm-shifts, realism and anti-realism, scientific research programmes, and many more. In the later part of the course we will look at how philosophical issues arise in particular scientific disciplines, and how they relate to scientific practices.
