Oral History in the History of Biomedical Research

Since the mid-20th century the method of Oral History has been used in the history of science. What is the role of interviews in our history writing today? We will discuss in a workshop with Jenny Bangham (University of Cambridge, UK) this question with reference to several ongoing research projects that explore the history of late twentieth century biomedical research.
