This paper introduces Amazongraphy as a critical lens to examine how the "Amazon" is governed not merely as a territory, but as a site of biopolitical and epistemic control. Drawing on Foucault’s governmentality, it analyzes how environmental policies and transnational frameworks embed neoliberal rationalities that depoliticize the forest and marginalize local knowledges. Amazongraphy exposes these power dynamics and calls for counter-conducts that challenge the technocratic governance of life in the Amazon region.
